To be integrated into society is to be part of it. This means working to develop initiatives that help to overcome social, emotional and cultural shortcomings, regardless of their cause. Only in this way can we reduce inequalities and help society to prosper. This is our attitude. A sustainable approach, where social well-being and patronage play a fundamental role.

Fazer Bem+ is novobanco’s corporate volunteering program, created to strengthen the bank’s social commitment and mobilize more and more people to generate real impact in the communities where we operate.

Initiatives with a sustainable approach

When it comes to social welfare, any help makes a difference. That's why, in partnership with social welfare organisations, we are developing initiatives aimed at alleviating social, emotional and cultural inequalities.

 

Volunteer Programme

Our Volunteering Programme aims to develop and encourage employee involvement in community support initiatives that respond to socio-economic and environmental issues. Employees interested in taking part in these activities are given one day's leave per year, divided into two periods (1/2 day for each activity).
