NOVO BANCO, S.A. is a credit institution whose corporate purpose is banking activity. It is duly incorporated under Portuguese law and is authorised and registered with the Banco de Portugal under number 0007.

NOVO BANCO, S.A. is also registered with the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários) and is authorised to provide the following investment services and activities:

    a) Registration and custody of financial instruments;

    b) Reception and transmission of orders on behalf of clients;

    c) Portfolio management on behalf of clients;

    d) Assistance in public offerings relating to financial instruments;

    e) Placement in public offerings of securities;

    f) Granting of credit, including securities lending, for the execution of transactions in financial instruments in which the lending entity is involved;

    g) Investment advice concerning financial instruments;

    h) Advice on capital structure, industrial strategy and related matters, as well as on mergers and acquisitions;

    i) Custodian services for financial instruments forming part of the assets of those institutions;

    j) Execution of orders on behalf of clients in the spot market;

    k) Execution of orders on behalf of clients in the derivatives market;

    l) Dealing on own account in financial instruments;

    m) Foreign exchange services and the rental of safe‑deposit boxes related to the provision of investment services.

NOVO BANCO, S.A., registered under number 419506141 since 21 January 2019, in the category of Insurance Agent, is also duly authorised by the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (Autoridade de Supervisão de Seguros e Fundos de Pensões) to market life and non-life insurance products from the insurers Gama Life, Mudum Seguros, Generali Seguros, S.A., Europ Assistance, GNB Fundos de Pensões and Coface. It does not have powers of representation to conclude insurance contracts on behalf of insurers, nor to receive insurance premiums, and does not assume risk coverage.
