Who can receive cashback and how do I pay?

To access cashback, you need to meet three simple conditions:
 

  • Have a novobanco Packaged account

    You can sign up at a branch. All packaged accounts already include cashback.

  • Have an active novobanco card

    It can be a debit card or a credit card. You can apply for a credit card 100% online. 

  • Set your privacy preferences

    On the app or on novobanco Online, accept personal data processing to receive campaigns tailored to your profile. Then select the preference “Through novobanco Online or the App”.

How do I pay to receive cashback?

Use your novobanco card. Debit, credit or prepaid. In store, online, or with MB WAY, including QR code and MB NET virtual cards.

It is a programme where customers benefit from cashbacks for purchases made with a debit card or credit card, including virtual cards created from these, at physical and online stores, across more than 300 merchants.

To take part, you must:

a. Accept “Personal data processing for the presentation of products and services”. 
b. Choose as your preference “Through novobanco Online and the novobanco App”.

You can receive cashback on in store purchases, online purchases, and payments made with MB WAY, as long as you use a novobanco debit card or credit card with a partner brand and within the campaign validity period.  
What matters is that the purchase is made with a novobanco card. 

You have until the campaign expiry date.

Cashback is credited to your account after the return period defined by each merchant has ended. This may vary depending on the campaign, so always check the deadline shown in the offer. 
You can track the status in the app or on novobanco Online under “cashback history”.

No. There are no monthly limits or maximum cashback limits. You can benefit from all campaigns available to you whenever you shop with partner brands using your novobanco cards.

Adult customers with a Packaged Account, signed up to Digital Channels, with a novobanco card, who have consented to “Personal data processing for the presentation of products and services”. 

If you do not have a packaged account, you can sign up at any branch.  
If you have not given consent, you can do it quickly on the app in Settings. Privacy Management. Or on novobanco Online in Personalization and Security. Communication and Privacy. Personal data processing.  

You must 
a. Accept “Personal data processing for the presentation of products and services”. 
b. Choose the preference “Through novobanco Online and the novobanco App”.

On the novobanco app home screen you will find between 1 and 4 campaigns available to you. You can tap to see more offers if there are any. 
The partner list includes brands across areas such as dining out, fashion, energy and wellbeing.

No. When you view the offers available to you, they become active automatically. Scroll down to activate all offers.

Cashback is credited to your account after the purchase return period ends, depending on the partner brand. You can track your cashback history directly on the app.
