MB WAY

With the MB WAY app, you can link your novobanco cards to your mobile number and use your smartphone or tablet to make purchases, transfers or withdrawals. 

Features

The card can be requested at a novobanco Branch by any customer who holds a Current Account with the bank.

To obtain the card, you must be at least 10 years old. hold a novobanco account (can be a parent’s or legal representative’s account), have a valid email address and be a resident in Portugal 

The card can be used to:

  • Make payments at merchants within the Visa or Multibanco networks

  • Withdraw cash worldwide

  • Top up the card

  • Top up a mobile phone

  • Buy tickets

  • Make online purchases

Need help?

You can top up your card at any time using Service Payments or Bank Transfer through the following channels:

  • ATM:  Insert your Debit Card or Credit Card and PIN at a Multibanco ATM. Select “Service Payments” and enter the entity, reference and amount. 
    Alternatively, use “Bank Transfers” and enter the IBAN and amount.

  • novobanco Online or other banks’ homebanking

  • Payment terminals (POS), where available

  • At any Branch, via bank transfer

  • For Service Payments: entity and Multibanco reference

  • For bank transfers: IBAN
