How to set up your Direct Debits
Confirm
Check that the company providing the service accepts payment by Direct Debit.
Provide
Give the company your IBAN and novobanco SWIFT address.
Complete
There is nothing else you need to do. The company will take care of the rest.
Completely Secure and Flexible
Once the authorisation has been created and is available to view onin novobanco Online, you can set a maximum amount or an expiry date to control the amounts debited from your account, as well as deactivate the authorisation whenever you wish.
Through novobanco Online you can:

View your past and future collections
Automatically request the rejection of a pending collection (up to the day before the debit date).
Request a refund of a completed collection (within eight weeks of the debit date), without providing any justification.

Cancel a Direct Debit
Through the following menu option:
Everyday Banking \ Payments and Top-Ups \ Direct Debits (Details button).

Request a copy of the documentyou signed in favour of the creditor collecting payment by Direct Debit.

Choose which creditors
are authorised to debit your account (or alternatively those who are not authorised).

Specify that you do not allowAny Direct Debits to be made on your account.
