The novobanco supports the AMI Ecoética Project, which rehabilitates and reforests areas severely affected by wildfires, with efforts focused on the Pinhal de Leiria. 

novobanco has joined this cause by making a donation to plant 5,000 trees, while also encouraging the participation of 200 volunteers.  

On 17 and 18 March 2023, the bank's clients and employees took part in a volunteering initiative and planted maritime pines and stone pines in the Pinhal de Leiria.
